Membership has been declining continually over the last few decades. Recent survey reported that the number of pastoral charges will become halved in ten years.

 It is a serious matter that the church should do something about. But it seems as though the church is hiding it or became numb.

Some old timers recall that they had been hearing the same story since their time of ordination, 30-40 years ago.

It is different from that time and it is a serious and urgent matter nowadays.
